I.  Points by grade level

First Semester

1^st grade                      15 points/80% average

2^nd grade                      45 points/80% average

3^rd grade                      65 points/80% average

4^th grade                      65 points/80% average

5^th grade                      65 points/80% average

 Second Semester

1^st grade                      25 points/80% average

2^nd grade                      50 points/80% average

3^rd grade                      65 points/80% average

4^th grade                      65 points/80% average

5^th grade                      65 points/80% average 

II. Awards

 ·         Every 10 points 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th grade students will get a pass to the                         Accelerated Reader WII Turbo-Charged Game Room or popcorn

·         Every 5 points 1^st graders will get a pass to the Accelerated Reader WII Turbo-Charged Game Room or popcorn

 III.       End of First Semester

 All students who have reached their goal will be invited to a party at  

 Sanderson Elementary Library for a “poppin good party”.                       

IV.       End of Year Champions Field Trip

All students reaching their goals for the entire year will be eligible for the end-of-year trip; time and place will be announced at a later date. 

 Remember:  The Accelerated Reader trip is an honor.  Qualification for attending the Accelerated Reader End-of-Year Trip will be cumulative, based upon points earned for the entire year.  Example: A second grade student must have a total of 95 points by the end of the 2009-2010 school-year.  If this student gets only 30 for the first semester, he will have to get 65 the second semester.  If a student gets 75 for the first semester, he will still have to get the required 50 for the second semester.
