I'm the Junior High Science and History teacher, and I'm excited to be part of your student's learning journey!

I grew up on a beef cattle ranch in West Texas, where I developed a passion for agriculture, science, and the outdoors. I graduated from Iraan High School in 2018 before earning my Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from West Texas A&M University in 2022. During college, I was honored to receive the Outstanding Senior Award and had the incredible opportunity to study abroad in Australia. I later completed my Master of Agriculture in 2025.

Before becoming a teacher, I worked in agricultural research, focusing on beef cattle genetics and entomology. I also worked with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, where I helped connect research with communities through agricultural education and outreach.

Outside of school, I've been married to my amazing husband since 2023. One of our favorite experiences was visiting New Zealand, where we even went bungy jumping! In my free time, you'll usually find me running, camping, hiking, or spending time outdoors. 

I'm looking forward to a fantastic year filled with curiosity, discovery, and learning!
