About Me:
I am thrilled to be starting my 27th year in education. Teaching and mentoring students has grown to be a passion, and my goal every day is to make my classroom an engaging, supportive place for everyone who walks through my door.
Before becoming an educator, I served in the U.S. Navy for eight and a half years as a Fire Controlman. I spent six of those years stationed aboard the aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67), where my job was to operate and maintain the ship's missile defense and radar-guided gun systems. That experience taught me the value of teamwork, discipline, and technology—skills I love passing on to my students today!
On a personal note, I have been happily married to my beautiful wife, Tami, for 27 years. Together, we have a big, wonderful family with six children and five grandchildren (with another one on the way!).
I am looking forward to getting to know all of my new students this year. It is going to be a great year!
