About the course: 

Environmental Science is an inquiry-driven course that examines the interactions among Earth's living and nonliving systems. Students investigate ecosystems, biodiversity, natural resources, climate, energy, water, air, and human impacts on the environment. Through hands-on investigations, field experiences, and data analysis, students evaluate environmental challenges at local, regional, and global scales and develop evidence-based solutions that promote sustainability and responsible stewardship of natural resources. Scientific and engineering practices are integrated throughout the course to help students ask questions, analyze data, construct explanations, and communicate scientific findings.

Algebra II is a rigorous, standards-based mathematics course that extends students' understanding of algebraic concepts and develops advanced problem-solving skills through mathematical reasoning and real-world applications. The course emphasizes modeling with mathematics, analyzing patterns and relationships, solving equations and inequalities, interpreting data, and making connections among multiple representations of mathematical concepts.
